local picnic shelter at the city -run park which costs $30 for a
four-hour block of time.  Interested in an urban setting, then
visit the Asheville Area Arts Council which rents gallery space
for events.  If you are planning a spring or summer wedding,
one of the most beautiful outdoor an inexpensive wedding
places is the Botanical Gardens in Asheville located near the
UNC campus.
